I have heard the question asked many times by Manchester United: "Who is going to replace Edwin Van der Sar ?".Good question too. Tomas Kusczakn doesn't seem to inspire a lot of confidence in many United fans and Ben Foster still needs more time at the top level is another opinion.
So it will come as no surprise that Manchester United are closing in on Real Valladolid goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo. AS says United are outright favourites for Asenjo and could sign the youngster as early as January.
United have had scouts watch Asenjo in games against Athletic Bilbao, Malaga and Valencia this season.....Back To Home Page
