Manchester United have been linked with Franck Ribery despite Bayern Munich insisting earlier this season that the French international is not for sale, Sir Alex Ferguson remains a huge fan and has been for a number of years.."He is fantastic," Ferguson said of Ribery. "He is always moving and incredible energy. He is always going forward but defends a lot too. He would have no problem playing in England."
It is believed the Reds could be ready to challenge Manchester City and Chelsea for the forward, with an offer of £25million being mooted. Injury crises like the ones we have faced this season can leave you defensively short. As we are against Inter Milan tonight. So having some really experienced back up would not be a bad idea. The other option is to keep throwing youngsters in and hoping they can do the job.
